Award honors the efforts of Hennepin County organizations to promote a healthy work environment
HealthFitness is pleased to announce its recognition as a 2017 Wellness by Design Gold award winner. The award honors organizations within Hennepin County that have demonstrated a strong commitment to creating a healthy workplace.
The Minneapolis-based provider of health and well-being solutions has a workforce of 5,000 throughout the country.
The company integrates its health and well-being programs into its organizational structure and culture and empowers leaders at all levels who act as role models—delivering health messages and promoting well-being activities.
Employees participate in various physical activities and nutrition challenges, healthy coaching and screenings and use online trackers and health assessments to help improve their health and productivity. And an internal social networking site connects employees on everything from exercise challenges to running clubs and personal health success stories.
